Sandown (Race 1)

Having her third run today the Animal Kingdom filly Shalya looks ready to win at a good price. She raced very greenly on debut when finishing an honest second at Mornington, then at her next start she was caught wide on speed but again boxed on for a tough third behind Falling Waters who has since come out and run very well in town at Caulfield.
At the great each way odds of $13 with Sportsbet she looks a good bet to kick off your Wednesday punting action.

Sandown (Race 8)

Right down the bottom Simply Invincible looks well placed to notch up his third career win. First up from a spell he had to work far too hard to find the lead and then ran them along too quickly and was going to drop out. Last start though he showed big improvement when running second to Astro Castro at Geelong. He drops 3kg for that run and will be hard to best paying $8.50 with Sportsbet.

Canterbury (Race 3)

One Son from the Rob Potter yard looks to have found himself avery winnable race here. With a lot of the fancies coming in with poor form in tougher grades, this guy has been running very well against similar opposition. He charged home from midfield last time and with just 50 kg on his back today after the claim he will be one of the fastest finishing at the end.
He has been a model of consistency lately and it's hard to see him missing a place at the very least.

Doomben (Race 1)

A lot of these runners have been maidens for sometime, while Indian Rocks looks the most progressive horse after finishing runner up at just his second start last time. He sat on speed and gave himself every chance last time and with natural improvement today it is hard to see how he won't be fighting out the finish again.
In a race with plenty of capped horses he does look the one that has the most upside.
